Christopher H. Perini is chief marketing officer of Verisk Analytics. He oversees the company’s marketing and design services, customer support, corporate communications, and marketing communications. Mr. Perini’s responsibilities include branding, media relations, employee communications, Verisk’s websites, customer service, market research, and sales support initiatives, including advertising and industry conferences.
Mr. Perini has served in marketing roles for 30 years. He joined Verisk’s ISO unit in 1998 as director – Marketing, responsible for new product development. He was promoted to assistant vice president in 2000 and, later that year, to vice president – Marketing, overseeing the planning and development of strategic new products. In 2005, Mr. Perini was appointed vice president and chief operating officer of ISO’s predictive modeling unit, ISO Innovative Analytics. He became vice president of ISO’s Marketing and Customer Service Department in 2007. In 2009, when Verisk Analytics completed its initial public offering, he was named chief marketing officer.
In 2012, ExecRank recognized Mr. Perini as one of the top chief marketing officers in the United States.
Before joining ISO, Mr. Perini spent more than 15 years with Dun & Bradstreet in a variety of increasingly responsible positions. While at Dun & Bradstreet, he oversaw the marketing and development of new products for the insurance industry.
Mr. Perini is a graduate of Marquette University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration and marketing. He is a member of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society, the American Marketing Association, and the Professional Pricing Society.
